Parent Connection - Focus on CVI
Connect with other parents and build a statewide community.
This monthly Zoom space is for parents of DSB Explorers ages 13 and under impacted by CVI (cortical visual impairment).
- Have opportunities to share about your kids and family.
- Learn about a variety of topics that interest you.
- Discuss the parenting challenges raising youth who are Blind, Deaf-Blind or Low Vision.
- Gain a better understanding about resources that are available around the state
We will meet via Zoom on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month to discuss issues specific to empowering children impacted by CVI.

The Northwest Center for Assistive Technology Training (CATT-NW) will lead a discussion on using technology for individuals with cortical visual impairment.
