The Washington State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind (SRCB) is an advisory group of volunteers, appointed by the Washington State Governor, who provide counsel and guidance to DSB. The committee reviews, evaluates, and recommends plans, policies, and activities to ensure that blind or visually impaired people in our state receive the most effective and efficient rehabilitation services possible.

The SRCB is authorized by the federal Rehabilitation Act under the federal Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act, and in Washington State statutes RCW 74.18.070 through 74.18.100.
