Dog Guide Information
Dog guides are highly trained animals that provide people who are Blind, Deaf-Blind, or Low Vision with enhanced mobility, companionship, the opportunity to conquer barriers, and increased independence.
There are numerous non-profit organizations dedicated to breeding, training, and matching dog guides with people who are Blind, Deaf-Blind, or Low Vision or have other disabilities. The majority of these organizations provide custom trained service animals at no cost to the client.
