Join DSB and Courageous Connections for an Equine Encounters Workshop in Lake Stevens!
Blind and low vision individuals are invited to spend an afternoon at our farm and participate in an interactive class with our horses.
During Equine Encounters, participants are invited to experience hands-on interactions with horses in a safe and engaging farm environment.
Activities will focus on increasing social skills such as:
- Developing problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and healthy boundary setting
- Increasing self-awareness and confidence
- Leadership skills and personal responsibility
