Tools shape the world we live in, the buildings we live and go to school in, and our culture.
Participants will safely explore hammers, nails, table saws, and other tools in Tinkertopia’s “Tinkerspace”. The “Tinkertopians” will teach students about these tools and how they are used to create the spaces in our world. Then everyone will then use this knowledge to create individual art pieces.
Tinkertopia, LLC works with local businesses, capturing safe, reusable materials from the wastestream (aka, the Great Material Continuum), and reimagines these as unusual arts and craft supplies for kids, teachers, makers and tinkerers.
