What can DSB do for employees who are blind or have low vision?
DSB conducts job site evaluations and recommendations on how an employee who is blind or has low vision can fully perform the job.

The evaluation:

  • Looks at the essential functions of the job.
  • Recommends the technology and accommodations required to perform those essential functions.
  • Assesses the ability of the employee to use technology to perform the job.

DSB works with employers on a to determine technology needs and to address other important issues prior to hiring a new employee or in retaining a current employee.
