YS Out & About

Three boys with white canes crossing a street. A guide dog and handler are in the background.Which option is right for me?

Bellingham ECC Club Meeting on mobility and transportation.

Have you ever wondered:

  • How can I get around my community?
  • What other tools for mobility are available to me?
  • What are my rights and responsibilities if I have a guide dog?
  • What is the difference between a guide dog and service animal?

If so, this workshop can help!

We will have a discussion on the various methods of mobility available to you and have invited Jake Koch from Guide Dogs for the Blind to give you information to help you and your family determine if a guide dog is right  for you.
