The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects you more than you know. If you have a disability, you should know how ADA laws protect you in the workplace.
Attend the upcoming seminar, ADA and Employment for People are Blind or Visually Impaired, to learn more about your options and employer requirements. Speakers from the Center for Independence will lead a Disability Rights Panel speaking and answering questions on advocacy and accommodations for school and work environments.
The panel will provide information and answer questions around disability rights specially focusing on advocacy and the accommodations process for school and work from personal experiences. Hear from individuals who have gone through the accommodations process and from DSB staff who have years of experience working with human resource departments regarding accommodations in the workplace.
