We are very excited to inform you that our tentative plan to open to the doors is now official, and we’re moving forward with opening our doors to the public on Tuesday, October 19, 2021!
DSB offices will be open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
Just like before the pandemic, participants need to make appointments for their visits.
We will continue to adhere to safety protocols to help keep our employees and customers safe and healthy while we continue the work of government and minimize the spread of COVID-19 in this transition period. Protocols may change as new information or directives are received.
Masking & Social Distancing
Agency staff will continue to sanitize work areas, wear masks, and practice social distancing in the office. We will require participants and visitors to use facial masking, social distancing, and sanitizing protocols when working with agency staff or contractors. We will be reducing office occupancy by limiting the number of staff in each office and the number of in office appointments per day to help maintain social distance.
Per Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 21-14, state employees must be fully vaccinated no later than October 18, 2021. In addition, all DSB agency contractors who have provisions in their contract to provide in-person or on-site services must be fully vaccinated by October 18.
The state does not currently require an agency participant or member of the public to be vaccinated before meeting with staff.
The current status can change at any time, but we are excited to return to the office and hope to continue to increase our in-person availability to our clients.
