iOS Assistive Technology Training

For Blind or Visually Impaired youth ages 9 and up.

Whether you need a refresher or you’re totally new to iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) this hands-on training is a great way to learn the basics and discover helpful tips and tricks.

No device? No problem! DSB will have loaner devices available for your use during the training.

Parents and teachers: Learn iOS with your student. Find out what they really know and how to incorporate an iDevice into their daily routines.

Feeling more advanced? We have an app for that! Come learn more about specific apps developed for individuals who are blind or visually impaired - whether it is turning your iPhone into a video magnifier or a scanner to read printed materials.

Want to learn something specific? Submit your request with your RSVP.
