Ever wonder what it is like to skydive without jumping out of a plane?
Join us as we bring together students who are blind, visually impaired, and/or low vision from across the state for a day of science, fun and flying!
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Education program at iFLY uses iFLY’s unique vertical wind tunnel facility to make STEM exciting, relevant, and accessible to all students.
Highly trained STEM educators will guide participants through an interactive presentation and lab activity before being trained by a flight instructor to experience their own flight! Learn about unique STEM careers from a retired NASA astronaut instructor.
DSB will fund students who are blind, visually impaired and/or low vision ages 9-21 and one parent. Additional family members or students outside of this age range are welcome to attend and will receive the reduced fee rate. Please contact us for more information.
