Join the Department of Services for the Blind and the Washington Talking Book & Braille Library for a morning of social interaction, skill building, and gaming.
The class will work on basic social skills - such as listening to the speaker, keeping on topic, and facing the person who is speaking - and discuss social behaviors and peer interactions in a group setting.
Kids will also work together to complete a group project.
Then they can continue to practice the skills they’ve learned by playing a wide variety of fun and accessible games.
Blind and visually impaired students, ages 5 through 8.
