Teams of students (ages 9-21 years old) will work cooperatively with each other to compete against other teams using various tools in an active kitchen to prepare a simple meal with “mystery” ingredients.
Supervision and instruction will be given for cutting, chopping, and peeling of fruits and vegetables; exploring measuring tools like cups and spoons; and as well as oven and stovetop exploration and proper usage.
A panel of judges will rate the teams’ culinary creations and honor winners.
